Thursday, July 24

Hello.

oh now what...what's today....oh yeah! its Thursday. and I skipped school and used up 1/10 of my absence allowance thingy because I wasn't happy with the teacher for giving me 'C's when I'm overworked due to team mates not coming etc. This sucks. you're overoveroverworked and you still get a 'C'. Other groups have 5 people and mine has 3..and 1 of them doesn't do anything but sit and stare at his screen and make things worst. So 2 people slag it out the whole day and get a C. I'm going on strike.

[1st trip - Boon Lay -> Farrer Park]
ahhh...so I spent the day on strike alone. while my teammates suffered (hehehe). wandering the streets of Singapore like some nomadic tourist. now nothing's open that early in Singapore...other than that Mustapha Centre thing and 7-11. And so I went to 7-11, got myself milk (dont ask me why), and went to that Mustapha Centre thing. So I walked around there and got myself freaked out seeing all the jewellery they had in some paart of their store. They sealed my bag, which was nice, 'cos I had my laptop inside just in case I changed my mind, but then again, I couldnt open it after that. Chicken backside.

I saw some soft toys there and it kinda melted me when I picked up a toy tiger. Reminds me of the time I made a big fuss at Genting just because I wanted a tiger. Not many people know I have tons of soft toys in my room. And that I erm...hafta have a certain cat when I sleep. Now if you walked into my room and looked only at my bed you would probably think that it's a girls room. Then you see some large poster of some ugly soccer player and rabbit food lying here and clothes lying there and then you realise its not a girls room.

[2nd trip - Farrer Park -> Woodlands]
So I went to Woodlands, mainly because I haven't been there for ages and I had some erm...private investigator work to do. I did my Sherlock Holmes stuff (im not going to tell you what i did...no way!) and ended up petting some friendly cat. Most of the time these cats run away. This one was friendly. I meowed at it (dontaskmewhy...I do a lot of nonsense) and it meowed at me. So I meowed at it and it meowed at me. And I meowed at it and it meowed at me. Meow Meow Meow. And I ended up scratching its belly. Hoo-ha. Then I had a meal at Burger King...and why some people have to talk so loudly and let the whole world know what they're talking about I have no idea. Causeway Point is huge...but nothing there is really spectacular...so I EXERCISED by walking around Causeway Point.

I got injured while sleeping. I don't really know how it happened but I remember waking up in the middle of the night with my calf hurting a lot. And that's about it. I woke up in the morning, right leg injured calf, left leg broken toenail and limped around everywhere. makes you wonder how i managed to walk around and skip school today right? Why I'm THE INCREDIBLE KOK! Hah!

[3rd trip - Woodlands -> City Hall]
And so I made my way down to City Hall. There was this guy who kept clapping his hands on the MRT. I dunno. i'm scared of retarded people now after being kicked my one. I didnt really wander too much around Cuty Hall...just around Funan and this little known shopping centre called Peninsula Shopping Centre. It's old, and its tucked behind Funan and hardly anyone notices it cos its grey and old. but there's stuff for cool people in there. There's tons of stuff which I like there...a lot of soccer stuff...I went and blew some money on more figurines. But that's not important cos I have $$ (hehe). Kinda makes you feel important when you walk in there. There's tons of weird shirts and 'rare' stores like cowboy, US Army and stamp shops. And there's this shoe store who's owner looks like a mad scientist. But what's nice about that mad scientist shoe store is that the highest price for his shoes are $30. Nike included.

I then went to this TMC education centre to enquire about a course. The lady I talked to was nice...very nice...I don't know why...I've never seen or heard of her but she seemed like a friend...I'm not exactly sure why I got on so easily with her. We had tons of fun talking throughout the discussion...and a lot of things I've not told people I just told her. Usually I tell a lot of stuff only to Alan...but this Indian lady asked me questions and I kinda just took it from there. Maybe its because I hadnt spoken much until then.

[4th trip - City Hall -> Boon Lay]
So now I'm on the way back to my home ground. Guilt, sadness, happiness. Redhill, Clementi, Jurong East. Guilt for Redhill due to obvious reasons. Sadness for Clementi because I miss the area and the station is blue (!#%!%). Happiness for Jurong East because the area has always been close to me and I kinda feel a sense of security whenever I reach Jurong East and beyond. And I miss Dhoby Ghaut too. Miss being overdressed when I go there. Miss slanging everything at the Informatics centre there. Why am I talking about Dhoby Ghaut.

So I reach Boon Lay. And I go immediately to the Popular store and 'borrow' one of their scissors to snip that thing from Mustapha Centre off my bag. Hooray! I can open my bag! Ho-hum. Now I can watch a movie in peace.

hmm....I haven't watched many movies this year...not many interest me...the last one I watched was Dumb and Dumberer...and that was horrible. Finding Nemo didn't impress me. Basic was nice...but I've forgotten what it's about already. I think I'm only going to watch a movie from now on if critics give at least a 3.5 for it. Terminator 3 got a 3.5 so it passes. And I went in and watched it. And I came out very very amused. I can't believe Arnold Schwarzenegger's (so long..!#$3) body still looks so good even though he's 55. I think Terminator 3 amused me more than Dumb and Dumberer, with his sunglass problem and whatever. very very amusing and thrilling. i think the terminator would make an excellent tag team with Mr Bean.

And so I went home and typed all this out late at night and made people weary. Hah. Sorry if you found this thing a bit long. I getting old. And when you get old you tell grandfather stories.

for the last entry
