Monday, October 24

I've been coming home pretty zonked out these few days, and I haven't got any rubbish to write today, so I'll just post the next best thing -- a picture of my lousy right leg that has whacked so many people and scored numerous own goals while playing soccer! Just for you! Say yay!

The guy shot a look across at the girl at the bar. The girl noticed and looked back at the tough, rugged guy. Their gaze met. Eyes connected in a single line of vision, they shared that tingling, passionate moment. The guy, filled with lust and passion, advanced towards the girl. The girl, with eyes still transfixed on the tough rugged guy, laid down. The guy clambered over the girl, steadied himself, and started thrusting energetically, frantically, passionately into her.

An intruder approached the couple. The girl, startled and panicking, darted into the bushes, with the guy in hot pursuit. They stood in the bushes, listening and watching for any signs of another intruder. Sastified that they had shaken off the trail of the meddlesome intruder that had interrupted their moment of passion, the guy carried on where they left off. Unknown to them, the intruder was still standing at a distance, listening silently.

There was a growl in the bushes as the guy came. Sastified with their lovemaking session, the couple retreated to the staircases and lay down, exhausted.

I keep seeing these cats having sex when I'm walking home these few days. I hope its some kind of good sign.

on music and books
Sunday, October 2

seen on a Damien Rice forum:
I don't understand why people can't just enjoy music for what it is. So what if it's like everything else? It's still good music. This generation is getting too caught up in what's "new" or "individualistic".

Statements like, "I can't like _____ because everybody likes it/him/them etc..." are ridiculous. Get over yourself.
My sentiments exactly. This applies to books too. Just because everyone is reading Dan Brown or Harry Potter doesn't mean you reading it too and jumping on the bandwagon will result in...well I don't know, being cool/uncool because you're seen as following others?

Everybody has their preferences, but statements like those up there are nonsense. Why get yourself affected by this mainstream/individualistic rubbish? It's just a song, just a story. Read it because its a fantastic story, listen to it because its a fantastic song that probably took the singer/author lots of time to come out with. Read it because all your friends tell you its good, don't shun it because all your friends have told you that. Read it, listen to it, then make a judgement.
