thought it would be nice to post something in the first few hours of a new year.
managed to kinda get the "miss-friend" syndrome out of my head for the majority of the last remaining hours of 2002. but still felt kinda sad when my cousin came over to my house and left to welcome the new year with friends. i watched the countdown party on channel 5, and personally, i thought it was a real letdown given the media coverage devoted to it. the fireball was nothing much, the fireworks weren't spectacular, there wasn't anything noteworthy. But what the hell, let's just welcome the new year and hope for global peace. i'm sick and tired of war and fighting (although not on WWE).
also made a startling discovery today/yesterday. found out that one of the actresses in "I not stupid" was a pupil in my alma mater (CTSS). i never knew that she was in my school because well, nobody ever mentioned it! the school didn't mention it, the pupils didn't seem to really be all hyped up and it's been a year! i didn't know that the girl playing the sister of the fat little boy was studying in my school! never saw her acting in concerts whatsoever. but she's on tv. school concerts too low class for her? she's studying in 2c1 THIS YEAR if you're interested to know. another cousin of mine was a former classmate of her and she pointed that out to me.
yea, most people are partying right now. for me, i'm gonna sleep. the early bird catches the worm, remember?
